Welcome, friends! My husband Chris and I moved into our current home, Willow Bend, in 2012. We had moved to the area 5 years earlier in search of a school that would provide our daughter with Autism, Willow, with the support and education that she deserved. We waited patiently for the perfect house for our big family.
Willow Bend {Before}
It took us five years but we finally found it! Families are smaller these days and most floorplans are designed for entertaining. Our house sat empty for two years just waiting for us. Willow Bend is a work in progress and, truthfully, I don’t know if I’ll ever be “done.”
Fun fact: my husband and I both spent our childhood on farms and moved out of state and into town in the 6th grade! We both imagined raising our children in an old white Farmhouse, like the ones that we both loved…and missed. But God had other plans. He always does. His plans are always so much greater than anything we could ever imagine. Thank you for being a part of that plan!
