Today, I’m sharing my Ezekiel Bible Flip Through in my newest
I spent the past several months doing a bible program called The Bible in 90 Days by YouVersion. It was well worth the time. My husband and I are doing The Bible in a Year by Father Mike–which I love. But we listen in the evening and lately, I’ve found myself falling asleep while listening. It’s not difficult because he has the most smooth, buttery voice I’ve ever heard! I am a Brand Ambassador for Tyndale Bibles. I received their much anticipated new Inspire Catholic Bible last month. It’s absolutely beautiful. I just happened to be reading Ezekiel at the time. So that’s where I decided to start. Bible Journaling on its own isn’t enough for me. So I usually journal in conjunction with my Bible Studies. I feel like they compliment each other well and journaling helps with the memorization process for me. Everyone has their favorite mediums that they like to work with. For this project, I used some of my tried-and-true favorites. I love colored pencils, glitter pens, and metallic watercolors. You can find a complete list of supplies, here. I am obsessed with Kuretake Japanese Watercolors. For adding details, like the gold lettering, I use a small brush and my Kuretake Watercolors. I really don’t use watercolors on my pages that much with one exception–metallic. Because they don’t seem to crinkle the pages. I know that hand painting in the gold lettering might seem like overkill. But the results are worth it. I’m a creative person but I’m NOT artistic. So believe me when I say it’s not as hard as it looks. I created the pages below with my metallic set from Hobby Lobby that I use quite a bit too. The turquoise is perfect. We all know that I’m all over that! I use Zebra Midliners to highlight the passages. They don’t bleed through and I can always find the perfect color to match my pages. I hope you enjoyed my flip-through of Ezekiel. Please feel free to reach out or comment if you have any questions. Bible Journaling The Book of Ezekiel
